The Prescott-Nevada Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time and money in a community development program, working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well-being of the area; working together, throughout the year, conducting programs that are aimed at improving the quality of life.

Our Chamber of Commerce serves as a branch and a partner of every business and professional person is our community. The Chamber is just as interested in the small business concerns as in the large ones. Quality of life in our community is of primary importance. Whatever the scope of involvement or the type of activity, remember, “Things don’t just happen”. Progress is made through the efforts of many people working together through an avenue known as The Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber hosts numerous receptions throughout the year to honor those who are retiring, recognize those who have achieved success or people who have done something special and deserve recognition. Local businesses host community coffees to help citizens become more familiar with their services and products. A ribbon cutting for the opening of a new business is one of the most exciting experiences of the Chamber. The Chamber works with a number of other agencies to help with programs, grants and activities such as the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce, Nevada County Fair Board, Arkansas Festival & Events Association, Nevada County Extension Council, Nevada County Leadership, Civic Clubs, Schools, Prescott/Nevada County Interlocal Industrial Board and the Nevada County Depot & Museum Board. The Chamber supports the Arkansas Scholars Program and awards Chamber Scholarships each year to two deserving seniors. Some of our main events throughout the year include the Annual Chamber Banquet, Fall Festival and Trade Days, Keep Arkansas Beautiful Community Clean-Up, Easter Egg Hunt, Trick or Treat on Elm Street, City of Prescott 4th of July Firework Show, Christmas Consumer Expo, Christmas Parade, Breakfast with Santa and the Community Crawfish Boil.

The Chamber of Commerce is always seeking new ways to help our community grow and prosper. But, more than that, the Chamber is helping our community become a great place to live and raise our families. The Chamber invests full time, year around to serve the citizens of Nevada County. It takes all of us working together as partners to keep Prescott and Nevada County a strong and healthy community.
